hey crap...
nice catch....i listened to the version from her "greatest hits" cd and it doesn't have the drum taps in the left channel in the background.....i just assumed it was a eq'ing issue.....the way you can really tell the difference is at the 0:27-0:29 mark.....the bongo drum taps in the left channel are very prominent on the 45 and non-existant on the gh cd version.....the cd "1985-89 #1 radio hits" DOES have the correct version......again....very nice catch.... |

I bought the 45 and 12 inch single asap. Since I didn't have a cd player at that time, it wasn't until 1988 that I bought my first three cds. Debbie Gibson was one of those! I noticed right away that the song was full of added instruments! It was like super enhanced! But I noticed it was different than the video version because of the sax ending. I kinda like the original version.
