All Or Nothing was never issued on a 45 as an "A" side -A remix did appear on the b-side of Girl I'm Gonna Miss You. This was the only single of their 6 commercial singles not to be issued as a 45 (the 6th single was the coupling of Megamix and Can't You Feel My Love in 1990).

And I'm quite sure that the remix on the B-side of "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You" is not the U.S. Remix. It's the remix that appears on the Milli Vanilli import "2X2."

There was a commercial 45 in Canada for "All or Nothing". A-side "The US Remix" 3:54; B-side "Dreams to Remember (Radio Remix) 4:04. Deadwax AS1-9923-A1.

Brian was kind enough to send me his copy of the US Remix, which I presume is from an import single. I just compared this to my 12" single, and it appears that there is more than one edit of this mix. His copy runs 4:03 and does not match the 3:55 version. The 4:03 version has two additional segments at the beginning, and it's also missing part of the first verse.

This is a tricky one, so bear with me. As I recall, we received in to the station both the promo CD single for "All Or Nothing" AND the terrific promo 6-track hits sampler, "Maximum Milli Vanilli/The Hits That Shook The World" (ASCD-9930) at right around the same time. Track 1 of the sampler was "All Or Nothing". This version has both a listed & actual time of (3:15). FYI, this was the ONLY version of the song that we ever played on-air as a current back in 1990. Since both promos arrived in at about the same time, we basically had a choice of which "All Or Nothing" version we thought was best (FYI, the 3:15 version does not appear on the "All Or Nothing" promo CD single). Speaking of that promo, here are its details:

-Milli Vanilli-"All Or Nothing" (ASCD-9924)
1-The U.S. Remix (listed 4:04; actual 3:56)
2-The U.S. Mega Remix (listed & actual 8:54)
3-(a different song, "Dreams To Remember" (Radio Remix))

Certainly, the "U.S. Remix" :08 listed/actual time difference isn't doing a heck of a lot to clear things up here, so I will shoot out the (3:56) U.S. Remix version appearing on this promo CD single to Aaron, and see if that'll help clear things up any.

I'm guessing just about every other station did the same thing and played the LP version. My TM library also contains the LP version, and they didn't even release the US Remix on HitDisc as an option for programmers.

GAAAAHHH! I never ends! I just don't understand why Europe would get a different edit of the "US Remix." But it happened all the time, I guess.

Did anyone every clear up the difference between the U.S. Remix released in the USA and the version they released overseas that runs 4:04. I have the overseas U.S. Remix if anyone wants to compare.
