Is the 45 an edit of the LP version or a different mix?

The 45 version (about 4:16) has no echo on the drums.
The LP version (about 5:26) has a whole lot of echo on the drums. The confusion arises from the 1991 Paul Young anthology From Time To Time The Singles Collection, which is essentially the LP mix edited to mimic the 45 (about 4:29). There are small portions of this version that can't be edited down from the true LP version, but on the whole, it's clearly the LP mix. This version didn't exist before 1991. Hope that helps! |

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.
