<All other albums mostly or completely in Spanish are from way before or after the "Let It Loose" period. >
Speaking of their Spanish albums from way before their "Let It Loose" period, does anyone know if they exist on CD in any country? I haven't found any, and with their worldwide popularity (especially in spanish markets), I'm surprised Sony didn't release those early, Spanish albums on CD anywhere (at least, from what I can tell.) |

Edison, I bought the "Greatest Hits" CD when it was released, and don't recall the single version on it. Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I can remember, the single version had at least two different arrangements from the album version. 1) The final "Don't Wanna Say Goodbye" verse from the album version was ommitted. Single version vocals ended with "....sometimes things don't work out right, and you just have to say goodbye...". 2) The guitar arrangements after her final vocals were slightly different on the single version. Is this the version included on your "Greatest Hits"? I'm at work now so can't check mine. |

Ok, just gave it a listen to "Anything For You" on the Greatest Hits CD and it is the album version.
I have an mp3 of what I believe is the single version, and it does have the two above mentioned differences with the original version. Also, it clocks in at 3.37 against the 4.03 on the album. On the promo CD track times Andrew posted, per the running time looks like it is the album version, but maybe the mp3 file I have is an early fade of the single version... I'm confused now, guess I'll find out once I get the CD in a couple of weeks, I was feeling motivated and bought it. : p Andrew, if you care to listen to the track on your promo CD and confirm which version it is, and kill my curiosity earlier, I don't mind either. |

Hi folks,
I've been really busy and I haven't been able to respond to the private messages, but there is some confusion here with regard to "Anything For You"... The single version is the LONGER version with "Don't wanna say goodbye" at the extro. The original album version is the SHORTER version with out Gloria's extra tag line (& shorter fade). P.S. to EdisonLite... The 'vinyl sound' I detect on the "Bad Boy" GoldDisc is in the intro (mild turntable rumble on the synthesized percussion intro)& a little polystyrene sounding high end. (I admit it's hard to articulate in the printed word...) |

Aha! Thanks a bunch Andrew, all this time I thought it was the other way around.
I'll comfort myself that the Hits promo CD buy is still a good buy for the rest of the tracks, hehehe. |

An ebay seller told me that the 45 version of "Learning To Fly" by Pink Floyd is available on a VA comp called Super Sessions, Vol. 1. Although it wasn't a top 40 hit, it received airplay on MTV and still gets played on the classic rock stations in my market. I ordered this CD, and I'll report my findings when I receive it.
FYI, the 45 version has an edit in the instrumental section in the middle of the song, and it removes the wind sound effects that are heard on the fade out of the LP version. Run time is approximately (4:18). |

I just compared "Bad Boy" from the TM Century Disc to the version on the promo "Hits" CD (thanks to Andy C) and I find them to be identical, that there is no vinyl noise on the intro of the TM Century version I have. But, as Andy has pointed out, there are 3 TM Century discs with "Bad Boy" so it's possible his TM Century came from vinyl, whereas one (or both) of the other TM Century CDs came from master tape.
Therefore, anyone who wants the single mix of "Bad Boy" can get it off of the promo "Hits" CD, 1 or 2 TM Century Discs, and possibly the import "Greatest Hits" CD from the UK. Speaking of which, that CD (as listed on amazon.com as the "1997 version"), lists it as having "Bad Boy (remix)" (one of 2 bonus cuts on the UK version of "Greatest Hits"). But of course, there's the album mix, the single mix, and 1 or 2 other remixes of "Bad Boy". So does anyone have the UK version of "Greatest Hits" and can they confirm exactly which "remix" of "Bad Boy" is on there? If anyone wants a link to this version of the CD, it's: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000007W4J/sr=1-15/qid=1146 426380/ref=sr_1_15/002-5337054-7115215?%5Fencoding=UTF8&s=mu sic Edited by EdisonLite |

The copy I have of "Bad Boy" from TM's library does not contain noise during the intro. I know that some of the older discs that had vinyl transfers were later cleaned up and labeled "GoldDisc 3" with the exact same library number. For example, I have GD 101 (red typeface) and GD3 101 (black typeface). The newer disc corrected some wrong versions and has better sound quality (sources) than the old.
