Think I've also seen the remix on a UK CD single. Depends on how much of the other music on a compilation you want or need.

Even TM Century issued the LP version on a collection I have from the mid-1990's.

oooops, no - but it has a slightly louder bass line from my memory than the LP did. I didn't remember reading about an instrumental version here, but maybe I missed something, or skipped a post...lol.

Well, apparently there are two promo CD singles of "Joy And Pain," because I have one in my possession that has the catalog number "PCD-PRO1re." It has the same track listing, but the first cut has the true single version instead of the dub version. Mystery solved!
