Yes, those two CDs match the 45. Same mix, same fade points, same length.
I suspect that any disc running 3:34 will also match the 45, but I can't confirm. I also suspect that any disc running 3:28 has its mastering based on Johnny Lee's Warner Bros. Greatest Hits, but I can't confirm. |

There's a lot of crap on the radio, but there's only one Crap From The Past.

The moment you hear the beginning of the 45 hit mix you'll
know the difference. |

Late to the party for this discussion but I just recently joined.
The 45 version of Lookin' For Love was issued on the 1989 Warner Bros. various artists compilation Country Love Songs [Warner Bros. 25967-2] Running time listed on the insert is 3:37 but the audio fades out at about 3:34. That compilation is available as a download but from the brief sample I cannot verify that it is indeed exactly the same as the 1989 CD release. The running time is listed as 3:38. Qobuz has a CD quality download of that track available as a WAV or FLAC file for $1.69. See it here: https://www.qobuz.com/us-en/album/country-love-songs- country-love-songs/0075992596763 Edited by CountryPD |
