my commercial 45 for the donny & marie osmond song "morning
side of the mountain" issued as mgm/kolob 14765 states the
run time on the label as 2:55 but actually runs
2:54....you'll need to pitch up the version on the curb
"greatest hits" cd which runs 3:01 to 137bpm's to match the
2:55 run time....this 45 run time info should be noted in
the db...

Good info, Ed... I'm wondering if the 3:01-3:02 length that regularly shows up on CD may be reflective of the album length. Perhaps someone who has a copy of the Donny and Marie Osmond I'm Leaving It All up to You parent vinyl LP can pass along the timing info for "Morning Side of the Mountain".

13 years later, I was listening to the 45 dub the Music
Prof has on his channel and I'm hearing the opening vocals
with reverb. The CD versions don't seem to have the same
reverb the 45 does.

Sounds like they were in a small mountainous valley lol

I wonder if the stereo side of the promo 45 had the extra
reverb?

Anybody have it to check?

Andy
