does anyone know if the cd "dj disco mix vol 2" issued in 1998 on simitar contains the correct version of "disco lucy" and not a re-recorded version.......i've listed the info below from allmusic.com

I once had an mp3 of it, but once I fashioned a 45 single edit out of it, I deleted it. It was just way too long for my taste.

Heh! Soon as I find it! I created it from the mp3 and my beat-up 45. The reason for this is because the mp3 I got was messed up at the beginnings and ends. I EQ'ed it to match the vinyl.

I just sent it out. I didn't play the mp3 file before I sent it and noticed a bit of digital noise near the end that ie not on the original file. I can resend it if need be.

This is in response to your orignal post inquiring about the DJ Disco Mix Vol. 2 CD. I don't have a copy of that disc but, judging by the CD title, it very well could be one of those discs where the tracks all segue into each other to foster a continuous dance mix. Can anyone confirm how "Disco Lucy" appears on this CD? |
