The full title on the "Dance Remixes" cd is "Suave Mix" (acoustic version) and yes it is identical to the version found on the "What You Don't Know" cd track 13, the "Suave Mix".

I have a couple of things to note regarding Expose's "When I Looked at Him":

First, the database currently doesn't mention that CD copies of the What You Don't Know album (Arista 8532) contains a 7:00 version of "When I Looked at Him" called the "Suave Mix" (as Gordon has previously pointed out). This is probably worth noting in the database since the 7:00 "Suave Mix" also appears on Expose's Greatest Dance Mixes CD (Thump 206579024), which is presently designated with a generic "remix" comment. I initially thought the "Suave Mix" might be a 12" single version; however, I am unable to find any evidence of a 12" single release for this song (there is no such listing on the Discogs or Ebay websites). Therefore, the What You Don't Know CD album appears to be the origin of this version.

Second, commercial single copies of "When I Looked at Him" all contain the following track listing and run times:

1) Single version - 4:17
2) "Suave Mix" (Acoustic Version) - 5:19

This is pertinent because the "'Suave Mix' (Acoustic Version)" currently appears on one database CD with the comment: (suave mix). That said, I'm thinking it would be worth expanding that particular comment so that it reads more completely and accurately, such as:

("Suave Mix" (Acoustic Version), which appears on the flip-side of cassette and vinyl single copies).

By the way, I'm just curious if anyone recalls hearing (or playing) this version of "When I Looked at Him" played on the radio back in the day? (I personally do not.)

Thanks for this update, Todd! I modified the database to add these details.

I love the "suave mix (acoustic version)" and remember
hearing it a few times in mid-afternoon on my go-to top
40 station. WMJQ (102.5 from Buffalo) sometimes would
play either 12-inch single versions or other varying
versions during the mid-day shift at times in the late
'80s. I remember hearing the 12-inch version of Taylor
Dayne's "I'll Always Love You" around the same time.

When I got the 45 I was aware of this mix and that's
usually the version I'll play whenever I'm in the mood to
hear the song.
